Has Beans, Brooklyn

While I haven’t lived in South Park Slope for a few years now, by far one of the best places to get a great cup of coffee (and beans by the pound) in Brooklyn, is at a place called  Has Beans.  It’s a tiny little place (or at least it was that last time I was there) that serves the gamut of coffee offerings, some baked goods and vegan treats, and now apparently wine and beer (good choice).  You can also get “free” wifi after making a purchase, and there are two computer stations for those traveling light.  Also noteworthy is the raspberry banana bread from Margaret Palca Bakes, which is a particular favorite of my boyfriend’s, who will travel back from time to time for it.  Management is a bit surly now and then, but sometimes you have to put up with a little gruff to get a good cup of coffee.
